Mr. Ahsan has been in the electricity industry for 20 years during which he has been responsible for design and leading the development of several transmission lines in Australia and abroad.
He works for several Western Power, AusNet, Tas Networks, Power &Water, Alinta, ElectraNet, Sarawak Energy and few other overseas clients’ new transmission lines, existing line vegetation and emergency restoration management projects and line uprating/ augmentation projects.
Ahsan is an expert in PLS CADD, TOWER and POLE software and has provided training on transmission line design and PLS to Utilities engineers in Australia, Bangladesh, Thailand and overseas. Ahsan has developed standard ALS based high precision PLS CADD model development methodology and checklists for bulk PLS CADD modelling of transmission networks.
